Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce in TOES Town is an association of businesses watching out for the interests of local businesses, to insure that policy decisions made over in the town hall don't give marauding multinational's an uneven advantage in the local market place. The Chamber also fosters economic development to meet the needs of TOES Town residents. Their goal is to nurture local businesses to provide gainful and meaningful employment to anyone needing a job, and to ensure that businesses meet the needs of the community. The Chamber favors market control of the economy, but views the purpose of business as meeting social need, not serving owner's greed.
